Peter Rooney lives in the small town of Centerville. He attends Centerville Elementary School where he goes to the fifth grade. Peter is a pretty normal kid. He does his chores, his homework when his teacher assigns it and he usually gets it done on time. He doesn't have any superpowers like some kids wish they did. He does have a pretty active imagination and he does have a bunch of great friends.

With these friends, they get into all sorts of situations and adventures. Peter's friends like to ride bikes, play Marbles, and try their best to stay out of trouble. And once in a while they go visit Mr. Baker. He owns the local hardware store, where he also sells candy, ice cream and it's where they all get their supply of competition marbles. One in particular, the Championship Blue Star. A marble of such exquisite form and beauty, Peter had to have it.
